Take a leisurely stroll around the farm park of our poultry and waterfowl pens, see and feed over 30 breeds of ducks and chickens- marvel at the range of shapes, sizes and colours which never ceases to amaze; which one will you decide is your favourite? Our chosen breeds may not, for some, be rare breeds, but they have been chosen for their original productive traits, these working strains of birds are now increasingly rare. Ask any advice you want about keeping birds yourselves. We have years of experience helping people and birds fit together the best way. We also love to learn, and enjoy hearing about other people's birds and experiences.

"What a wonderful spot, such lovely birds, and your enthusiasm for everything is infectious."
"That was one of the nicest places we have visited in a long time"

try some of our great eggs from our free roaming hens for your breakfast a view of our ducks pens to the mountains

We ask a small admission charge to the park area only    £2 for adults and £1 for concessions, and you can get wee pots of feed for all the birds.

Entry to the plant centre, shop and garden is free

For the gardeners we have a hardy plant nursery and covered area for you to browse amongst quality young plants we grow in our nursery.
Our range is extensive and eclectic : grasses, rhododendrons, heathers, alpines, perennials, herbs, trees, roses, planters, bulbs
"The most interesting selection of plants in the area" ~ "So refreshing to see plants grown with a passion"

We have a shop that we have filled with goodies - of course our eggs; books; magazines; and cards and, of course, an ever growing selelction of poultry equipment and feed for all your animals.

For those requiring their Internet fix - we have a computor available for Public Internet Access

We now have a new feature -- a growing archive of information about the local history of the area and especially the parish of Ardchattan.
You are welcome to take a break and read some of the books and magazines in our expanding library on history, poultry, and gardening.

The Soroba and Dunbeg Garden railway is a scale mile of G scale model railway around our garden and will be running regularly on a dry Sunday afternoon throughout the summer. Tim enjoys sharing his hobby with other enthusiasts, and welcomes other trains needing some exercise.

We look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones in 2008 - there is always something new happening at Kintaline - like many others you will be back to keep an eye on our progress. steam engine blue meconopsis
